It’s not very often that we here at Legit Reviews have wandered into the audio spectrum for our product reviews, but we are about to change all of that. Well, SRS Labs is a company that produces audio enhancement software. They are based in Santa Ana California and at one time they were a part of the Hughes Aircraft Company’s audio division and were the developers of theSound Retrieval System Technology; hence the name SRS. They separated from Hughes in 1993 to form the SRS Labs we know today. Okay, enough of the history lesson; let’s get to the real story behind this article: the SRS Labs HD Audio Lab software. HD Audio Lab is the newest in a long line of psychoacoustic 3D audio processing products that are developed and sold by SRS Labs.
